Ongoing Student Projects and Research
CO-GENERATIONN OF ELECTRICITY USING WASTE
This project proposes the implementation of a cogeneration system to optimize energy Utilization in a facility. By simultaneously generating electricity and useful heat from a single Fuel source, such as natural gas, this approach enhances energy efficiency and reduces Greenhouse gas emissions. The system involves the integration of advanced technologies like Combined heat and power (CHP) units, which capture waste heat for various heating and Cooling applications.
TRANSFORMER PROTECTION DEVICE
The primary objective of the transformer protection is to be detect internal fault in the transformer with a high degree of sensitivity and cause subsequent de-energization at same time be immune to fault external to the transformer sensitive detection and recognition enables the faults damage and hence necessary repairs to be limited, however it should be able to provide backup protection.
TRANSMISSION LINE FAULT DETECTION SYSTEM
In the modern era, with the escalating demand for electricity ,ensuring the seamless operation power grid has become paramount Transmission lines The implementation of TLFD marks a significant advancement in fault detection capabilities providing utilities and operation with protective approach to identified and localize fault before they escalate into major disruption.
